Photos

Okay - so first a little something about photos! :-)

At the very last minute I decided on not taking my zoom lens with me, although I had thought I would. But I still haven't found a decent case for it, so it's still in it's original package, and it is quite heavy ... and I still haven't managed to get used to switching lenses smoothly, it's quite a big deal for me to change them, I'm really afraid of getting dirt on the lenses or in the camera house, and it's basically all a mess. I don't regret not taking it actually, I think it would have been more of a bother than a benefit to carry it around with me all the time in London - though there were a few times when I kind of with I had it! :)

I have loads of photos to sort through now, will do that before I start updating the blog, so the next entry probably won't be for a little while yet.
I think the easiest way to share everything I have done is to make one post about what I did on a particular day, then a separate post with photos from that day ...
Also, there are no photos from Day 1 and Day 6, which was when I went to and from London, as I never had the camera out these days. However, I have to make one comment here - I really wish I'd gotten around to get my camera out during the flights! First of all, I just love the take-offs and landings (although around Malmö we had some rough weather, both taking off and landing), so it would be cool to photograph a bit then. But also during the flight, when you get above the clouds ... I love clouds and seeing them from "above", with the bright blue sky, it was just amazing!! Next time I fly, I'll definitely have my camera ready! :)

I hope you enjoy the coming entries, and the photos, and if you want me to add anything or tell you more about something, please let me know!! :)

Looking forward to seeing your photos!

I don't think I'd ´bring my zoom lense either..it would be awesome to have, but I think it would just stress me out...(especially since I've only brought my real camera once)...next time I hope I can have a checked-in bag so i can bring both cameras...

No, I can't say that I regret leaving my zoom lens at home, granted, there were a few times when it would have been nice to have it, but I don't think I would have been able to carry it around all the time, and it is kind of "difficult" to change it, at least if you're out and about, often you have to hurry etc.

Definitely glad I brought both my cameras though, almost feels like a checked in bag is worth it just because of that! Lol! Seriously though, I think I will keep on going with one check-in bag, you do get two extra things to do (Bag drop and collect bag) at the airport, but I still think it's worth it ...

yeah..I totally understand what you mean! I bet you could take awesome photos with a zoom lense in London, but still doesn't seem worth the extra "trouble" to bring it LOL

Last time I really wanted to bring both cameras, but felt it would add too much extra stress to worry about losing luggage etc when travelling alone... next time I hope I can bring it!

Yeah, I think I'd definitely have to 1) find a proper bag or way of carrying my zoom lens around, and 2) learn how to change lenses in a smoother way, before I bring my extra lens with me.

I hope you'll be able to bring both cameras next time, but it does kind of mean you have to have a check-in bag, I think ... probably will be quite difficult to organize the packing otherwise ...

yeah...I don't think it's possible to bring a big camera without checking in one bag...

No, I don't think so either!
